Susan Doniger: Education/Interpretive Specialist

Susan Doniger has served as an Interpreter, Education Facilitator, Collections Manager and Historian for California State Parks for over eighteen years. In her capacity as District Interpretive Coordinator, she oversees a distance learning program utilizing video conferencing technology that connects with over 9,000 students in California per year and has oversight of interpretive media projects including brochures, exhibits and interpretive signage for 22 parks in the North Coast region of California State Parks. Prior to joining California State Parks, Susan worked for over 10 years in museum education and museum collections in the Los Angeles area and headed a local historical society in Whittier California. Ms. Doniger received a M.A. from California State University Long Beach in Interdisciplinary Studies & Humanities, (with honors) a Museum Studies Certificate, and a B.A. from U.C.L.A. in History.
